We started running stays in an old lane of Yancheng, Kaohsiung, in 2017. When a group travels, what matters most is usually not how fancy the rooms are but whether everyone can stay together: a pot of hot pot in the island kitchen, chatting around the mahjong table, instead of being scattered across a hotel's floors.

Godin House · 4F loungeWhen a big family or a group of friends travels, a hotel often puts them on different floors, and everyone shuts their own door; to share a late-night snack and a chat, you squeeze around the bed in someone's double room and worry about disturbing the neighbors.
So from day one Hello Stay rented out whole houses: we restored old houses in Yancheng so a group can have a whole house to itself.
We stick to two things: one group per house, and a private bathroom in every room. The grown-ups can make hot pot in the island kitchen and play mahjong, the kids have room to play, and anyone who needs a rest can go to their room.
A whole-house stay is more than a night's sleep: it gives a group a place to be together.

Both houses hold Kaohsiung City B&B licenses, which require passing fire safety and building inspections.
Both houses carry public liability insurance as the law requires, for extra peace of mind when you travel with older family members and children.
The houses have approved fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, emergency lighting and exit signs, and every group gets freshly washed sheets and duvet covers.
About a 7-minute walk to Yanchengpu MRT Station, 13 minutes to Pier-2 and 20 minutes to the Great Harbor Bridge; Dong Fen Wang glass noodles is about 2 minutes away, Kaohsiung Popo Ice about 4 and Ya Rou Zhen duck rice about 7.
You can book either house or both together; Dazhi Ruoyu, with an elevator, is still in planning.

No. During your stay the shared spaces (the Hello House 1F island kitchen, the Godin House 4F lounge and mahjong table) are for your group only and are not rented to anyone else; rooms open according to the plan you book, and rooms not included stay locked. Check-in is self check-in; the housekeeper does not live in the house, and you can reach us on LINE or by phone when you need us.
Yes. Hello House 1F is a high-ceilinged island kitchen with a two-burner induction cooktop, a microwave, an oven, a two-door fridge, an RO water dispenser, pots, dishes and cutlery, plus a manual mahjong table, so you can make hot pot; the Godin House 4F lounge has a microwave, a sink, a fridge and a mahjong table, but no cooking. Please keep the noise down after 23:00.
Yes. We are a licensed B&B exempt from Taiwan's uniform invoices, and we can issue a receipt stamped with the B&B seal, with your company name and tax ID, which companies, schools and government agencies can use for expense claims. Please tell us before check-in if you need one.
