All 5 rooms at Hello House and all 4 rooms at Godin House have their own bathroom. During your stay the shared spaces (the Hello House 1F island kitchen, the Godin House 4F lounge and mahjong table) are for your group only, with no other guests; rooms are opened according to the plan and group size you book, and rooms not included stay locked.
Neither house allows barbecues or open flames, indoors or outdoors. For cooking, Hello House has a 56 m² high-ceilinged island kitchen on 1F with a two-burner induction cooktop, a two-door fridge, an oven, a microwave, an RO water dispenser, and pots, dishes and cutlery, so you can make hot pot. Godin House 4F only has a fridge, a microwave, a sink and an RO water dispenser: fine for heating late-night snacks and chilling drinks, but not for cooking.
Neither house has KTV, karaoke or a sound system, and there is no automatic mahjong table. Both houses have a manual mahjong table and a smart TV (a 43-inch one on Hello House 1F) for cards, chatting and movies. Neighbors live in the lane, so please keep the noise down after 23:00.
Hello House and Godin House, the two houses you can book now, are older buildings without elevators, so you will use the stairs inside (Dazhi Ruoyu, still in planning, has an elevator but is not yet bookable). If older family members are coming, ask for the 1st-floor double room at Godin House to keep stairs to a minimum; the shared spaces and other rooms still need the stairs. If you arrive by car, older guests and large luggage can get out at the entrance of Lane 70, Dagong Road before you walk into the lane.
Every room has standard double beds (150 × 200 cm); there are no twin rooms with two single beds.
Children aged 6 and under who don't need a bed, bedding or toiletries of their own stay free; please still declare them and show proof of age. Children who need a bed or toiletries count as regular guests.
Check-in is from 4 p.m. (16:00), and please check out by 11 a.m. (11:00). Late check-out can be requested (NT$1,800 per hour; more than 4 hours counts as an extra night), depending on that day's bookings.
From 12 noon on check-in day you can leave your luggage in one place; tell us in advance and leave once it is stored. We cannot keep luggage after check-out; the paid lockers at Yanchengpu or Formosa Boulevard MRT stations are the easiest option.
We send it on LINE on check-in day once the house is ready, by 4 p.m. at the latest. If it hasn't arrived yet, the cleaning is usually just finishing; please wait a moment.
You sign the contract online and upload an ID before your stay: foreign guests use their passport; Taiwanese guests use their ID card, or a driver's license if the ID card won't upload. A health insurance card is not accepted.
You can ask for early check-in; we'll let you know when the house is ready that day, but we can't guarantee it. Late check-out is NT$1,800 per hour, and more than 4 hours counts as an extra night.
No. Check out yourselves and leave by 11 a.m. The housekeeper checks the house that day and transfers the deposit back to the refund account you left on our official LINE (please send the bank code, account number and account name before you check out).
At the sink, the left tap is RO water you can drink straight; the right tap is ordinary tap water.
Godin House 4F has a sink, a fridge and a microwave for simple meal prep, but no open flames. As for shared spaces, Hello House has its 1F island kitchen (which doubles as a lounge), and Godin House its 4F lounge.
Breakfast is not included, and we have no breakfast-shop discounts. You can make something simple in the kitchen; for food nearby, see our travel guide.

After signing the contract online, pay the room rate plus a NT$5,000 deposit in one bank transfer within 4 hours to hold your dates. Refund: before check-out, leave your refund account (bank code, account number and account name) on our official LINE; on check-out day, once the housekeeper confirms nothing is damaged and no rules were broken, the full deposit is transferred back the same day, without interest. If there is damage or a rule was broken, we deduct the costs under the contract and refund the rest.
Bookings are not refundable; you can ask to reschedule within one year of the original check-in date, depending on availability for the new dates, and we refund or charge the price difference.
For longer stays without daily linen changes, the system works out a lower rate automatically. At the moment we accept bank transfer only, so card payments aren't possible yet.
